After last year’s success of our short-term project “Sculpter en recyclant” at Emmaüs Tarnos (2010-FR-38), we are planning to apply the 1^st of April for a new group of volunteers with fewer opportunities (maximum 10 volunteers – one of each partner country). The project dates will probably be from 25^th of July to 25^th of August 2011 (1 month).

Continuing under the theme “recycling” this year’s group activity will be a “recycling fashion workshop”. Helped by an artist and a professional couturier the volunteers will create outfits made of secondhand clothes, which will be shown in the community’s secondhand shop at the end of the project. During three and a half days a week (8 - 12am, 2 - 6pm) the volunteers will help the members of the community with their daily work:  restoration or transport of old furniture, helping in the community’s shop, helping in the community’s kitchen… Sundays and Mondays are reserved for excursions and leisure time activities, one morning for French language lessons.
